The highlight of this session is Muddy Mayhem – a day dedicated to boundless free play in the mud! Imagine a canvas of earth and water where your child's imagination can run wild. Whether it's crafting delightful mud pies, creating unique mud art, or simply digging deep to uncover hidden treasures, the natural world becomes their oyster. We strongly recommend participants bring a change of clothing or a bathing suit, as getting wonderfully muddy is not just encouraged, but guaranteed! Important Registration & Attendance Information

Participation in the Jr. Forest Explorers program requires advanced registration for all attendees. Each session must be registered for separately to ensure proper capacity management. When requesting tickets, please ensure you account for the total number of people attending, including both children and adults. The registration form will guide you in specifying the exact number of children and adults in your party. To maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, we kindly request that you do not bring more people than you have signed up for without first communicating with our dedicated team. Your cooperation helps us deliver the best possible program for all participants.

Age Policy & Program Suitability

This particular program is thoughtfully designed for children aged 18 months to 3.5 years (pre-kindergarten). While children under 18 months are always welcome to join, please be aware that the activities are developmentally geared towards the older age group to maximize engagement and benefit. Older siblings, up to the age of five, are also warmly invited to participate alongside their younger counterparts. This age range policy is in place to protect our youngest visitors and ensure the program remains as engaging and tailored as possible for its target audience. For families with older children, we encourage you to explore Downsview Park’s Nature Connection program, which offers suitable activities for a broader age range.

However, service animals are, of course, always welcome. This educational initiative is primarily intended for individuals and families. Organized groups wishing to participate are kindly asked to make a separate booking through our designated channel. We are committed to inclusivity and offer French language service upon request.
