Kung Fu Juniors / 功夫少年狂

Caught between his parents' academic pressures and his grandfather's passion for kung fu, young Liang Ruicheng lives under dual burdens, uncertain of life's purpose. Everything changes when the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macau Greater Bay Area Youth Martial Arts Championship enters his life. The loss of a precious Yu ruyi during the competition not only ignites a family conflict but also leaves Ruicheng deeply discouraged.

At this critical moment, Ruicheng accidentally learns how his great-grandfather, grandfather, and father each forged their destinies through kung fu in their youth: In 1925, when China was weak and vulnerable, his great-grandfather Liang Shan fearlessly stepped onto an arena designed by foreign bullies. Though he lost the match, Liang Shan refused to yield. He continued resisting foreign oppression and embarked on a path of revolution.

He traveled widely teaching martial arts and even studied wound-healing techniques from Master Li, renowned as the "Orthopedic Sage." On the eve of New China's founding, amid turbulent times, his grandfather Liang Hong courageously took the stage to fight against warlords and local tyrants. Though he won the match, he lost his master's lifelong legacy and his beloved martial sister, Ruyi. Undeterred, Liang Hong remained true to his values after liberation.

While working tirelessly as a blacksmith to support his family, he diligently mastered various skills and dedicated himself to helping others. Born during the Reform era, his father Liang Guohua faced a choice between becoming a martial arts star or studying medicine in university. While he seemingly "abandoned martial arts for medicine," the spirit of kung fu continued to drive him forward. It empowered him to become an entrepreneur who embodied national responsibility and the spirit of craftsmanship.

The wisdom and legacy of his ancestors give Ruicheng the courage to confront himself. Ultimately, he discovers what kung fu truly means to him and resolutely steps onto the stage of the championship finals...

An Abandoned Team / 得寵先生

Uncle Gai is a 60-year-old hot-tempered loner who has lived much of his life in isolation. His marriage failed, and his strained relationship with his daughter has left him increasingly disconnected. After retirement, he feels that life has lost all meaning. One day, consumed by despair, he decides to end his life in the mountains. At the brink of giving up, he is discovered by a stray dog named Roast Piggy, who leads animal volunteer Una to rescue him.

This unexpected encounter becomes a turning point in Uncle Gai’s life.

At first, Gai harbors a strong dislike for dogs, but Roast Piggy’s loyalty slowly begins to soften his perspective. With Una’s encouragement, he begins volunteering at her animal shelter, where he cares for abandoned strays. Through this work, Gai rediscovers purpose and begins to open his heart, not only to animals but also toward mending his fractured relationship with his daughter. Just as it seems his life is finding new direction and hope, an unforeseen tragedy suddenly strikes…
