During this engaging 90-minute guided walk, participants will embark on a journey led by knowledgeable instructors from LEAF (Local Enhancement and Appreciation of Forests). Empowering Youth Leadership: The Young Urban Forest Leaders (YUFL) Program

The walk will be guided by a dedicated group of youth who have successfully completed the rigorous Young Urban Forest Leaders (YUFL) program. The YUFL initiative is a free training and mentorship program designed to empower Toronto's youth, with a particular focus on applicants from equity-deserving groups, including newcomers, gender-marginalized individuals, racialized communities, and 2SLGBTQ+ individuals. By participating in this tour, you're not only gaining knowledge about trees but also supporting the growth and leadership of these inspiring young environmentalists.
